So potentially you could open Visual Studio Code at another level in the virtual environment. It creates another .vscode folder that assume as Python directory those of the global machine and so having such an error, and has I experienced has nothing to do if the virtual environment is activated or not.

This is indeed what happened to me. I have indeed a DjangoRESTAPI_GEN folder in which I initially opened the IDE and it did recognize the virtual environment Python path. Then a few days after I opened it at the level where Git is, so it did create another .vscode folder, that picked the global Python Interpreter, causing my lint in the virtual environment not been used.

And the virtual env interpreter did not even show in "select python interpreter". But as written, opening the IDE at the level where the .vscode folder, that has the settings.json file with the correct path, it does.

With Visual Studio Code, a task within task.json can be configured to build a python environment with python modules listed in the requirements.txt and upgrade pip within that virtual environment. To create the task, goto Terminal -> Configure Tasks. If there is no task.json existing in your environment, create task.json file from template -> then click other and copy and paste the json below. This file will be located in the .vscode/ folder in your environment: .vscode/task.json. This task is agnostic to Operating Systems such as Windows, Linux, and MacOS. With Windows' ecosystem of command-line applications, cmd.exe is used in conjunction with the flags /c and /d to ensure that the environment created by the task is correct. As mentioned by Neil in his post, you can either selectYes after the dialog prompt or select the python interpreter via the command palette.

If your virtual environment is present in any of these default directories, you just need to activate the environment by selecting it. To select a specific environment, use the 'Python: Select Interpreter' command from the Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P).Refer: _select-and-activate-an-environment

If you have a requirements.txt file that you want to use to install packages, you can specify it here. The virtual environment will be created based on the packages listed in this file. If not, you can leave this option blank.

Once a project is further along, developers may want to move to the second room, Newman 4020, where room tracking is setup and a higher end PC is made available. This room is also the place for students, faculty, and patrons to experience virtual reality in a relaxed setting without having any prior knowledge of the technology. We provide the hardware and software for games, movies, artistic experiences, and educational content. This space also houses our volumetric capture system, capable of recording a 3D volume of space and producing meshes of that recording for use in other applications. Reserve your time to come and play or to test out your own VR projects.

I am curious as to why Visual studio is more popular than jetbrains rider yet in my own honest opinion i feel rider has a far better performance and intelisense than visual studio. Even when it comes to adding references rider easily detects what you want to add while for visual studio will not give you that option. Maybe its just my bias, i would love to hear more opinions on which IDE you guys use.

If you changed to a virtual machine with a different storage capacity (for example, from 32 GB to 64 GB), your codespace will be unavailable for a short time while the machine type is changed. If the codespace is currently active, it will automatically be stopped. When the change is complete, you'll be able to restart the codespace running on the new machine type.

If you changed to a virtual machine with the same storage capacity, the change will be applied the next time you restart the codespace. An active codespace will not be stopped automatically. For more information on restarting a codespace, see "Stopping and starting a codespace."

Virtual production is reshaping the way content is produced, not only for its obvious benefits in terms of saving production costs with virtual technology, but also for the increased storytelling possibilities it provides. The current challenge in virtual set production is matching reality, creating, in real-time, a perfect, accurate version of reality which is undistinguished from reality itself. Because what really makes the difference is to be unable to tell whether the images we are watching are real videos or digital renders.

When I installed the toolkits from intel on windows 10, I wanted to be sure that the additionnal compilers where included in Visual studio 2019. In fact, it was the case, because I have now the possibility to create fortran projects, and I secceeded to debug and execute a simple fortran code on 1 file (.f).
