This event was an eye-opening and enriching journey that helped us navigate the vast possibilities awaiting us in the professional world. We were given the tools, guidance, and inspiration to shape our future careers, and we cannot wait to share the valuable lessons and insights we gained. The Career Guidance Week was meticulously planned and executed by our senior high school officers, along with the guidance designate, Mr. Ode de los Reyes, under the support and approval of our esteemed school principal, Mrs. Zenith Avila. It was a collaborative effort that aimed to empower us with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about our future paths.
Each section from the HUMSS strand was given the task to be the facilitator of the said event. The booths served as a showcase of our learnings, artworks, documentation of our senior high life, and the artistic skills and resourcefulness of students in designing the booths.
DAY 1
The principal of our school gave her speech about the event. A ribbon cutting was also held after indicating the official commencement of our career guidance week.
On our first day of Career Week, the excitement was palpable as we meticulously arranged and decorated our booth, ensuring every detail was perfect. With the guidance of our school facilitators, our class embarked on a collective effort to clean and prepare the designated area. It was a heartwarming sight to witness the entire Emiliano Lizares Senior High School community coming together, each student displaying unwavering dedication to make Career Week a resounding success. We knew that this event held immense learning opportunities, and we eagerly anticipated the cooperation of the universities and colleges that would be joining us.

And they also gave out the guidelines/rubrics of judging the booths.

DAY 3
The atmosphere during those initial days of Career Week was electric, fueled by enthusiasm and a shared sense of purpose. We embraced the opportunity to showcase our professionalism, creativity, and dedication to crafting meaningful futures. Little did we know that these early moments were merely the prelude to the awe-inspiring experiences and revelations that awaited us in the days to come. Unfortunately, the weather interfered with our plans on Wednesday and Thursday, causing a temporary halt to our career guidance activities. However, on Monday, the program resumed with HUMSS 12-D taking the lead in the morning and HUMSS 12-F in the afternoon.
We arrived early that day to prepare our booth, adding finishing touches and additional decorations. Guest speakers from Riverside College, Colegio San Agustin, STI WNU, and CASAP arrived, each providing valuable insights into their respective institutions and the courses they offer.
Riverside College shared a glimpse of the courses available, such as BS Physical Therapy, BS Nursing, BS Radiologic Technology, BS Medical Technology, BS Business Administration, BS Entrepreneurship, BS Pharmacy, and BS Psychology. The speaker highlighted the unique opportunities provided by Riverside, including their own hospital for practical experiences and extensive employment connections. They engaged us in games related to their courses, rewarding those who answered questions. Colegio San Agustin also offered prizes to participants who answered their questions, recommending courses such as BS Nursing, BS Information Technology, Bachelor of Secondary Education, and Bachelor in Culture & Arts. The presentations from these two institutions inspired us to consider career paths in the fields of medicine and technology.
