Eleanor Mason is an artist, writer, and educator living and working in Maine. She has her Master of Arts in Teaching from MECA&D and holds her BFA in Photography, Video, and Film from Montserrat College of Art.

Eleanor enjoys travel and has photographed the landscapes, people, and architecture of several countries, the most recent of which include Bergen, Norway, Reykjavik, Iceland, Positano, Italy, and Roatan, Honduras. Her time abroad has taught her about the value of human relationships and the richness and diversity of culture. She aspires to share this enthusiasm and all she has learned with her students.

Light is the outstanding concept in all her subject matter. The way light moves through space and over form, interacting with color and texture, is the core exploration and the foremost inspiration for everything she does. Eleanor will never stop learning. She will continue to discover new ways to combine art forms as she learns with and from those around her.
