Welcome to the Ecology Lab for Monitoring, Ornithology, and Restoration of Ecosystems website!

Based in the Department of Forestry and Environmental Conservation at Clemson University, our lab evaluates how global change influences birds and other wildlife. Our research focuses on how Northern Bobwhite (Colinus virginianus), early successional/grassland birds, and forest interior bird species interact with habitat, management, disturbance, and other variables. We also study other associated species and systems, as well as novel techniques for monitoring wildlife and addressing conservation issues. We aim to inform adaptive management strategies for the conservation of these key species and ecosystems.
