WATER CONSERVATION:
You’ve heard, “It’s the small things that count”. Well, that’s true to prevent our planet from further water pollution too! There are many easy acts of service we can do for our planet every day.
ENERGY CONSERVATION:
Join the fight by turning off a light! We commence our second day of Environmental Awareness Week with a finger on an off switch. Being conscious of your energy use means being conscious of our planet’s health.
AIR POLLUTION:
Of all of the planet’s gifts, the air we breathe goes the most unnoticed. We often savor a cold drink or enjoy a crisp apple, but rarely do we value a deep breath. It’s time to appreciate the air we have right now as it’s health declines. To do that we must take care it and be proactive towards its recovery.
PAPER WASTE:
On this day of Environmental Awareness Week we look towards how to improve the way we handle our consumption and disposal of paper. Although it may not be possible to completely do away with our paper use, we can certainly make sure that it is recycled and disposed of correctly.
PLASTIC WASTE:
Today we focus on perhaps the infamous pollutant, plastic. We use it everyday and in all types of shapes and colors. It’s a favored material because of its durability, but that’s also our downfall. Due to its strength, plastic breaks down very, very slowly and damages the earth and wildlife in the process.
