Elmer Rusbert Calderón Beltrán

I am currently a full professor in the Department of Mathematics at the National University of Trujillo (UNT). I also teach in the master’s and doctoral programs offered by the Graduate Unit of the Faculty of Economic Engineering and Statistics at the National University of Engineering (UNI). I am also a member of the research group "Optimization, Mathematical Analysis, and Complex Systems" at the Department of Mathematics at the National University of Trujillo (Peru) and a collaborator with the Dinámica Porteña research group at the Institute of Mathematics of the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso, Chile. . I obtained my PhD from the University of São Paulo (USP) under the supervision of Rodrigo Bissacot. My research focuses on ergodic theory, thermodynamic formalism, and symbolic dynamics. I am also interested in hyperbolic dynamics and stochastic analysis.
