A prominent music teacher in Indonesia, Ms. Elly Lim has had an extensive teaching experience for over forty years. Teaching both piano and organ, Ms. Lim has produced many of Indonesia's most important music teachers and performers. Her extraordinary teaching has enabled her students to win top prizes in various major piano competitions and to pass important international piano exams with highest award and distinction. Her teaching methods are proven to be effective for students of all ages, including adults. Aside from her acclaimed reputation in teaching her students, Ms. Lim also successfully taught her own two children, Dr. Stephanie Neeman and Dr. Hendry Wijaya, who are both one of Indonesia's most well-known performers today. Ms. Lim had been invited to give music lectures and to be an adjudicator in many competitions, both in Indonesia and abroad.

One of the finest piano teachers in Indonesia, Ms. Ingrid has nurtured many talented pianists who are constantly active in national competitions, festivals and other musical activities. Her students have passed with highest Distinction in various music examinations. Ms. Ingrid joined the piano faculty and the Board of Directors of the Elly Lim Music Studio in 2018. Her exceptional organizational skills have been an invaluable asset to our school. She has helped organize many of the most important musical events in Indonesia, such as the Indonesia Steinway Youth Piano Competition, JCoM-Boston National Piano Competition, Jakarta International Open Piano Competition and Indonesia International Piano Competition, among others.

Dr. Stephanie Neeman is an active international performer and has performed to critical acclaim across the United States, Asia, and Australia. Stephanie has won virtually all major piano competitions in Indonesia, including the first prize in the prestigious Yamaha National Piano Competition. She won first prizes in the Empire State International Piano Competition and the Lillian Fuchs Chamber Music Competition. She was also a top prizewinner and won the prize for the best interpretation and outstanding performance of Franz Liszt at the Liszt-Garrison International Piano Competition in the United States. 

Stephanie received her Bachelor and Master of Music at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City and her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from CCM at the University of Cincinnati as a scholarship student of James Tocco

Dr. Neeman's passion and dedication to teaching have brought tremendous positive impact and accomplishment to her students. Her students have been accepted to prestigious programs at the Manhattan School of Music, New England Conservatory, Boston Conservatory, Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg, and Royal College of Music in London. Dr. Neeman's students have won top prizes at the Pittsburgh International Piano Competition, Seattle International Piano Competition, Henle International Piano Competition, Steinway Piano Competition, Sydney Eisteddfod, Carmel Klavier International Competition, Southeast Asia International Chopin Piano Competition, the ASEAN International Concerto Competition, the Alberti International Piano Competition, Hong Kong International Music Festival, among others.

She is the author of an advice column for STACCATO, a monthly music education magazine in Indonesia. She is currently a piano lecturer at the Australian National University and the head of the conservatory department at ELMS Conservatory of Music in Jakarta.

The Australian-American pianist Edward Neeman has performed across five continents. Critics have lauded him as a “true artist” with “an excellent technique” who “isn’t afraid to put a distinctive stamp on whatever he touches, without resorting to mannerism.” A top prizewinner of numerous international piano competitions, including first prize in the Joaquín Rodrigo Competition in Madrid, second prize in the Southern Highlands International Piano Competition, and third prize in the World International Piano Competition, Dr. Neeman has appeared as a soloist with the Prague Philharmonic, Sydney Symphony, Melbourne Symphony, Kentucky Symphony, Symphony of Northwest Arkansas, and the American West Symphony, among others. 

Dr. Neeman holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Australian National University, a Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music, and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from The Juilliard School. His teachers have included James Tocco, Jerome Lowenthal, Solomon Mikowsky, Santiago Rodriguez, Larry Sitsky, and Irena Orlov.

Dr. Neeman regularly gives masterclasses around the world. He has been a jury member for the Mozart International Piano Competition in Thailand, the Hong Kong Schools Festival, the Jakarta Conservatory National Competition, the Sydney Eisteddfod, the West Australian Pianists Competition, and numerous competitions and festivals in the United States. He has taught at Utah Valley University and is currently a piano lecturer at the Australian National University.
