The Georgia Speleological Survey hosted the event at their annual meeting in Lafayette, Georgia. The first reunion was hosted by Mike Fischesser on June 3, 2023 in Lafayette.
Also at the second reunion was the release of the original Ellison's Cave book compiled by Marion Smith and updated with stories since 1977 with the amazing photography of the Reuter brothers, Jacob Reuter and others.
