Welcome to the homepage of the Paris ELLIS Unit. ELLIS is the European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems. Its goal is to actively participate in the coordination of actions around artificial intelligence in the Paris region, in interaction with other members of the ELLIS network.

Our mission

The ELLIS Paris Unit plays a central role in connecting various institutions within the extensive Paris AI ecosystem, with the aim of helping researchers and students from different institutions to collaborate within the ELLIS network. Our unit promotes interdisciplinary research, particularly at the intersection of AI and the digital humanities. We aim to enable ELLIS membership for scholars specializing in the digital humanities, and to establish a new ELLIS program focusing on AI and the digital humanities.

You can find in the members section a list of local coordinators spread over the Paris area. You can contact your closest coordinator for more information to join the Unit. You can contact us if you would like to become a local coordinator.
