Welcome to the Elliott Research Group

The Elliott group are inorganic chemists focusing on the photopysics and photochemistry of transition metal coordination complexes. In particular we have interests in fundamental excited state processes involving the interplay between photoexcited metal to ligand charge transfer states and reactive or quenching metal centred states as well as the dynamics of energy transfer between luminescent excited states. The group also has interests in the application of photoactive transition metal complexes on devices as well as the use of luminescent complexes as imaging agents for confocal microscopy.
