Join this practical online workshop to learn how you can motivate your learners to study English by learning engaging contents from other subject areas such as science, social studies or arts. Employing CLIL gives your learners the opportunity to use English to think and talk about the content and the culture around it. You will engage in exercises to try CLIL as a student as well as plan activities where you can use CLIL as a teacher. Elementary and junior high school lessons where CLIL may be implemented will aslo be tackled. Each participant will receive a certificate after the workshop. 

This workshop will be facilitated by Ellie Fujimoto, the head of English at Hinode Elementary School and the executive director of the English Language Learning Institute. He has several years of experience in applying CLIL in his classroom and has trained teachers on the approach.
