The career I have decided to pursue is Aeronautical Engineering. My dad prompted me to become an engineer, he works as an aeronautical engineer for a company called ASEC. I decided this career was meant for me in late 8th grade however I have thought about becoming one for far longer.
I am taking geometry honors to help me achieve this goal and I am taking ATEX Engineering to help me become an engineer however I plan to apply for the full engineering program. I have not done much to become a engineer, I just got to highschool (change later) I am part of the Leonardtown High School Cross Country team, this has helped me learn to be more determined and learn that team support helps you and others do better.
I am 14 and I can't be employed yet, however I do plan to get a job once it is legal. I plan to go to college at Florida State University. I have no plans of joining the military, it risks my life and I can become more successful far easier by becoming an engineer. I will not attend a community college, parents have generously offered to pay for me to go to university. A university offers far more classes and higher degrees. No, trade school does not give the experience needed to become the type of engineer I plan to be at the level I plan to do it.
I will attempt to become an apprentice, it gives real world experience and sometimes you can get paid for it. I will probably work a low paying job or be an apprentice sometime in high school or college. If it takes too long to get into engineering school I will probably switch to coding with python as I am also very interested in that, I will most likely not seek further education after college as I believe real world experience is far more valuable and cheaper.
I could help my community positively as I can help build things and bring a steady income into the household. I will happily be a positive influence to my community by designing or building planes to help our country. I will try to make a positive influence by providing transportation and protection for my country.
