Who Are The Ellendune Entertainers?

We've been singing for a long time!

The Ellendune Entertainers have been meeting and singing together in Wroughton for many years. We meet every week at the Ellendune Community Centre in Wroughton and we sing. In fact, we socialise and we sing. It's a great way to meet new people of all ages and abilities and share a tune! We welcome new members of all abilities, though currently we do have a waiting list to join as we've been hitting our maximum membership buffers . If you are fed up of singing to yourself in the shower and want to join a friendly group of like minded people, you should contact us!

Rehearsals

We meet and sing on a Thursday evening from 7.30pm at The Ellendune Community Centre, Barrett Way, Wroughton, Swindon, SN4 9LW.

You can come along and sing socially and if you enjoy yourself, you would be encouraged to be part of our regular shows.

Shows

The Ellendune Entertainers put on two regular shows a year at the Ellendune Community Centre. We have a Spring/Summer show in May/June and a Winter/Christmas show in late November/December. These are popular with local audiences and are great fun to rehearse and produce. We also get involved in other ad hoc performances and local festivals and Christmas events.

Do I need to sing like an angel to join in?

It helps, but we encourage people of all abilities and part of the fun is learning and developing your skills. You'll never be asked to do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. Drop us an email or come along to a session and we'll make you feel welcome.

How much does it cost?

We encourage you to try us out and see if you enjoy coming first of all. If you like it and you stay we charge a small quarterly fee. It won't break the bank.
