In ellanic we constantly invest in new and sophisticated aircraft as well as on control systems, technical support and training of our staff.
In May 2016 the largest private investment in Greece valued at 6 billion USD, was announced for the order of up to 30 new generation aircraft of the A320neo family from Airbus and new long haul aircraft including A350s.
Our goal is to continue investing in our fleet, and to enhance one of our main competitive advantages – the low average age of our aircraft. Our fleet undergoes meticulous day-by-day maintenance in our modern hangar facilities by the Technical Department, consisting of specialized and well-trained aircraft technicians, mechanics and aeronautical/mechanical engineers.
Every aircraft in our fleet is equipped with the latest and most sophisticated safety systems, including TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System) and TAWS (Terrain Awareness and Warning System). Also, in AEGEAN we care about the environment and make constant upgrades in order to reduce noise, emissions, and fuel consumption.
ellanic’s fleet consists of 19 AIRBUS A320, 14 AIRBUS A320neo, 14 AIRBUS A321, 9 AIRBUS A321neo, 4 AIRBUS A330, 2 AIRBUS A330neo, 7 AIRBUS A350-900, 3 ATR 42-600 and 2 ATR 72-600.
