Assigned to complete the Indonesia section for WhoGov Dataset, the largest available dataset on members of government across time and countries.

The Ambassador Dataset provides comprehensive and continuous data on the distribution of Indonesian ambassadors since independence in 1945. Bibliographical information includes gender, year of inauguration, recipient country, appointed president, and professional background. In total, the dataset consists of more than 1,200 ambassadors as of October 2022.

The first version of the dataset was officially launched on 15 December 2022 and will be updated annually.
