Learning Every Day, Every Way Possible
An English Language Learner (ELL) gets to have more fun learning new words.
Your grades will go up the more words that you know. Ask Isabella L. in 7th grade! She learned so many new words in 6th grade. Go, Isabella!
New Words from All Classes
You will collect new words every day in your notebook from teachers and reading words.
People who can look at your note book are Mr. Lim, other teachers, and your parents so that we can help you learn your new words.
Why? Because the more you know, the more chances at success you have. Fact!
Expectations for All ELLs
All ELLs are expected to learn new words every day. In every class, you will need to know a certain number of words (between 1 and 3 new words), depending on your teacher and you.
The best students learn at least 8 new words a day. Are you the best? Yes, you are!
Remember: There are no "difficult" words; there are just words you do not yet know.
