Follow the steps below to be considered for one of our competitive boys’ teams.
🛑 You must be enrolled at Elkins High School to participate in any soccer-related activities.
Before participating in class, training, or tryouts, all students must:
Complete the UIL Athletic Physical Form
Download the Physical Form (Physical form is on the left)
Must be signed and stamped by a physician
Must be signed by a parent or guardian
Upload the completed physical to Rank One and complete all required digital forms

IMPORTANT: All forms and the uploaded physical in Rank One must be marked as “Approved” before the student can participate in any soccer activities.
After you’ve completed Step 1, email:

The middle school soccer team you were part of
⚠️ Reminder: Placement in the class period does not guarantee a roster spot. All players are evaluated annually and may be cut based on performance and commitment.
Freshmen:

Must attend Open Tryouts the week after Thanksgiving Break
⚠️Upperclassmen (Grades 10–12):

Open Tryouts
When: Week after Thanksgiving Break (exact dates TBA)
Location: Elkins High School Soccer Fields
Format: Technical drills, small-sided games, fitness testing
Players will be placed on:
Freshman Team
JV Team
Varsity Team
Each team carries approximately 18–22 players.
Players not selected will be removed from the soccer class in the spring semester.
All players in the class are re-evaluated annually. Roster spots are not guaranteed.
