Supporting our students in

Marching Band | Color Guard | Jazz Band | Concert Band

How do Band Boosters support our students?

Band Booster parents are a crucial part of the music program. The students work extremely hard preparing for football games, concerts, jazz, parade and field competitions. We need your participation.

Ordinarily, parents attend competitions with the band and can support us by:

~ pulling 3 to 4 equipment/uniform trailers

~ helping kids get in proper uniforms

~ walking the parade route, keeping kids hydrated

~ preparing and serving meals to the kids

~ assisting with props and percussion on/off the field

We help with transporting 3 to 4 band trailers, band uniforms, walking the parade route to provide water to the students; preparing/serving meals, and assisting with percussion equipment and props both on and off the field. Parents also work the EG High School football games.

Band Boosters hold three (3) major fundraisers: Fireworks Sales, Rhythm & Spirit Dinner and Herd Review. These fundraisers (and other smaller fundraisers) help raise money to pay for music equipment, staff who teach the students, and pay for the entrance fees for Field Competitions.

Please do not wait for your child(ren) to ask for your help with band. WE NEED YOU and do not fear the unknown; we have plenty of parents who will happily assist and train you. The parents spend a lot of time together and support the band. We build wonderful friendships, and create long-lasting memories.
