About Elizabeth Dettweiler

I studied music at Wilfrid Laurier University, completing an Honours Bachelor of Music degree in Music Therapy.  Teaching children in music is my passion and I have been teaching small classes using the Music For Young Children curriculum in my home studio for over 15 years.  With a degree in music therapy, I have skills and a strong desire to bring the enjoyment and enrichment of music into the lives of everyone, including those with special needs.  My studio teaching also includes students studying music through the Royal Conservatory of Music Grades 1 - 10 curriculum.  I facilitate studio recitals to provide the positive experience of sharing music with the community.
