B. E. S Community Outreach was founded in January 2021 and is a 501c3 nonprofit. We serve children and adolescents 5-16 years of age within the South Bronx by providing mentorship, academic support, Football (tackle and flag), and cheerleading. The BES Community Outreach organization and Bronx Elite Spartans football program were born out of necessity. As parents, we recognized that our children were falling between the systemic gaps in the status quo, and we stepped in to fill those gaps and extend the children in our community with better opportunities.

B.E.S Community Outreach is dedicated to the highest quality of recreation, academic support, and mentorship. Our mission is to foster a community where all youths will have a safe environment to grow and learn. To achieve this, we will provide a youth mentorship program, academic support, cheerleading, soccer and a football (flag and tackle) where economically disadvantaged youths can learn and develop skills that will assist them in their academic and scholastic journey.

We had an amazing time playing at the Jets Vs Giants game halftime show, thanks to the Bronx Giants for inviting us! At B.e.s, we believe in creating unforgettable experiences, and this opportunity was truly special. The energy and excitement in the stadium were electrifying, and we were thrilled to be a part of such a high-profile event. We also want to extend our thanks to the Giants organizations for their hospitality and for allowing us to be a part of this memorable experience. It was a privilege to share the field with such talented athletes and to contribute to the overall excitement of the game. At B.e.s, we are committed to creating lasting memories through the sport of football , and being a part of the Jets Vs Giants game halftime show was a perfect example of that. We look forward to future opportunities. Thank you again to the Bronx Giants for inviting us and to everyone who supported us during this incredible experience. Rising up Mentorship

BES community outreach rising up mentorship is a youth mentorship program that provides numerous benefits to both the mentees and mentors involved. We have Positive role models where Mentees in our youth mentorship program have the opportunity to connect with positive role models who can inspire and guide them. Our mentors serve as examples of success, resilience, and personal growth, helping mentees develop a positive self-image and belief in their own potential.

Our youth mentorship programs support mentees in developing important life skills such as communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and self-confidence. Mentors can provide guidance and feedback, helping mentees build resilience, adaptability, and emotional intelligence.

We are also focused on Increasing self-esteem and confidence: Through the support and encouragement of their mentors, mentees can experience an increase in self-esteem and confidence. Mentors can help mentees recognize their strengths, set achievable goals, and overcome self-doubt, empowering them to take on new challenges and pursue their dreams.

This past weekend our flag team BES Alpha won the Urban Youth Initiative flag championship . The competition was strong, support from friends and families was unwavering I want to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of every single player on this squad. You have shown unwavering commitment and resilience throughout this entire season. Your determination and passion have brought us to this moment, and I couldn't be prouder of each and every one of you.

As we celebrate this championship, let us not forget the values that define our sport: teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Let us continue to inspire and uplift others with our actions both on and off the field.

SPARTANS PLAY FLAG

Flag football is a variation of American football where instead of tackling players to the ground, defenders remove a flag or flag belt from the ball carrier's waist to indicate a "tackle". It's a popular recreational and intramural sport, and many schools, colleges, and community organizations offer flag football leagues.

The sport can be played by all genders and ages, and it's a great way to stay active and improve physical fitness. In addition, flag football emphasizes teamwork, communication, and strategy, making it a fun and engaging activity for players of all skill levels.

That's great news! CPR and AED training can be crucial in saving lives during emergencies, and it's wonderful to hear that the BES Community Outreach is taking steps to prepare for such situations.

CPR, or cardiopulmonary resuscitation, is a technique used to manually pump blood and oxygen through the body of someone who has suffered cardiac arrest. AED, or automated external defibrillator, is a device that can help restore a regular heart rhythm in someone experiencing cardiac arrest.

By receiving training in both CPR and AED use, the BES Community Outreach is equipping its members with the knowledge and skills necessary to potentially save a life in an emergency. It's also worth noting that CPR and AED training can be helpful in a variety of settings beyond just the workplace or community outreach events, including at home or in public places.

We celebrate achievements!!

The BES Community Youth Outreach Awards Ceremony is an annual event that celebrates the accomplishments of young people in our community. The event was held at the local community center, where all of the honorees and their families, friends, coaches and staff were invited to celebrate their special achievements.

This ceremony is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the hard work and dedication of our youth, and to show them that their efforts and successes are appreciated. We hope that this event serves as an inspiring reminder to all of our young people that their achievements do not go unnoticed and that they are valued members of our community.

Congrats to the Bronx Elite Spartans football program, the recipient of this season’s $5,000 grant award from SNY Play Ball presented by Toyota.
