I want those within my field of influence to feel welcomed, respected, and supported.
That is why I took an active role in graduate school to contribute within our AWM Student Chapter, the TAMU College of Science Diversity Committee, and founding our very own Math Graduate Student Diversity Committee. Below is a taste of some my efforts during graduate school.
I firmly believe that any field, institution, and community should be a welcoming to all. This belief continues to guide my actions and roles at my current position. Feel free to reach out if you want to know what it is like to be at a research laboratory! I would be happy to share my insights and experiences.
