Elisa Navarra
I am a PhD candidate in Economics at ECARES (Université libre de Bruxelles).
My research agenda is supported by a 4-years grant from the Fund for Scientific Research (F.R.S.-FNRS).
During the a. y. 2022-23, I worked as Associate Economic Affairs Officer in the DIAE Research Section of UNCTAD.
In September 2024, I will join the Economist Program of the International Monetary Fund.
Research interests:
Primary: International Trade.
Secondary: Industrial Organisation, Political Economy, and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Before starting my Ph.D., I pursued a BSc and a MSc in Economics at Bocconi University and a MRes in Economics at Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain).
I am also a member and former organizer of the Graduate Student International Political Economy Workshop, a virtual interdisciplinary workshop aimed at promoting research in International Economics and Political Economy.
This semester (Spring 2024) I am teaching Trade policy and international cooperation ECON-Master course at UCLouvain, and the International Trade ECON-Master course at Kyiv School of Economics.
