Elisabetta Leni

Welcome! I am an economist and researcher at Y-Säätiö (the Y-Foundation) in Finland, where I conduct applied research on homelessness, Housing First, and social inclusion. My work combines quantitative methods, experimental approaches, and Finnish administrative register data to evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of social policies. I am particularly interested in understanding how evidence can inform the design of services and public policies that improve individual well-being while making better use of public resources.
