The Higher Seminar in Aesthetics at Uppsala University is a discussion forum for researchers interested in philosophical aesthetics. Our guest speakers are generally based either abroad or at other Swedish universities. Talks and discussions tend to target different questions in the philosophy of art and aesthetics, but also themes relevant to neighbouring disciplines such as art history/theory, musicology, moral philosophy, neuro-aesthetics, etc.
