I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Erasmus School of Economics, a candidate fellow at the Tinbergen Institute, and a Research Affiliate at IZA. I completed my PhD at the Department of Applied Economics of the Université libre de Bruxelles (DULBEA).
I am an applied microeconomist studying how individuals adjust job search, training, and welfare participation decisions in response to changing incentives or new information.
A central focus of my research is labor market mismatch. For example, I examine how jobseekers can be encouraged to reskill into shortage occupations and how employers can adapt working conditions to attract workers into hard-to-fill vacancies.
Using natural experiments, randomized controlled trials, and high-quality administrative and survey data, I provide causal evidence to inform policy design. Many of my projects are conducted in close collaboration with policymakers.
In 2024, I was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship.
