Artificial Intelligence in Early Years Settings
This training will support Early Years managers, DSLs, SENDCos and other practitioners to build a clear, practical understanding of artificial intelligence and how it may increasingly feature within early years settings and children’s wider environments.
The session will enable staff to recognise the strengths of their existing safeguarding approaches, and to apply these to the use of emerging technologies, in line with national guidance an the latest research. Practitioners will explore what artificial intelligence is, where it might be encountered in practice and at home, and how it can be used safely, responsibly and with professional judgment. The training also considers both opportunities and risks, and how practitioners can begin to support children’s early awareness through everyday experiences, conversations and play.
FREE for Somerset settings
£10 for all others.
