Blog

My blog "abstract recipe" is where I (occasionally) write about math I am interested in, but do not actively research. A popular topic is finite permutation groups and their modular representation theory (Helmut Wielandt, Leonard Scott, double coset algebras, Alperin's weight conjecture...). My interest in these topics is entirely thanks to the time I spent at Northern Illinois Univeristy studying with Michael Geline.
