The Orientation Program & Guardian Meeting 2026 of ELIBEC (E-Learning Initiative for Bangladeshi Expats’ Children), an online education platform delivering mother tongue–based learning for Bangladeshi expatriate children, was successfully held online via Zoom on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 6:00 PM.

The program was attended by ELIBEC teachers, a number of students and parents, mentors, advisors, and special guests. At the beginning of the session, Teacher Coordinator Nusrat Jahan Chowdhury presented ELIBEC’s vision, ongoing activities, academic plans, and guidelines for the new academic year.

The event included a class-wise student introduction session, followed by experience-sharing from both students and parents. Teacher representative Hasina Momtaz Happy discussed teaching methods, evaluation processes, and student progress. Parents expressed their appreciation for ELIBEC’s initiative in providing mother tongue–based education for children living abroad.

In their speeches, special guests Dr. Md. Sanowar Hossain and Md. Sabir Hossain highlighted the importance of ELIBEC’s role in preserving identity, language, and academic continuity for expatriate children. An open discussion and feedback session was also held, where parents shared valuable opinions and suggestions.

In the closing remarks, ELIBEC Director Md. Nazrul Islam thanked all participants and stated:
“Ensuring quality, affordable, and mother tongue–based education for children growing up abroad is the core mission of ELIBEC.”

It is worth mentioning that currently around 50 students from 15 countries are regularly participating in ELIBEC’s online classes. The 2026 academic session officially began on January 11, 2026, and admissions remain open throughout the year. Interested parents can also avail a FREE 1-week trial class before confirming admission.
