Just getting started?
Here is a checklist and steps to take to get up and running.
Here is what you need to get started:
Paper - 24lb to 32lb bright white only. Avoid 20lb it gives off a cheap feel.
Envelopes - #10 size with security protection and peel and stick.
Postage - Forever stamps via USPS. Discount stamps are available below...
Return address stickers or printed - I recommend printing your return address on the envelope with your home printer. Use small black font. Stickers look less professional but they work when starting out. You want to get to printing them yourself eventually. I also print "Personal and Confidential" in the bottom left of the envelope. This adds a sense of importance and urgency.
Ink jet or laser printer - I use an HP Smart Tank. It works great! I have the monthly HP subscription for $27 a month. It covers the ink and any issues I may have with the printer. Printers are built cheaply and they don't last. I already replaced mine with this plan and it cost me nothing. They sent me a new one and a box to send the old one back. I print my bonus pages and Intro page myself on my HP. However, I print my bulk flyers through Staples if I need 500 or more. Where I live Staples is very popular and affordable to use as a back-up.
Budget - Depending on the path you take this depends. But if you buy your stamps retail through USPS, a letter costs about $1.00 per piece to send including printing, lead, paper, and postage. (Below a resource to buy older FOREVER stamps at a massive discount).
So your initial cost to join Power of Four is $165 and $250 for EDI Pro.
I would recommend $200 a month minimum to promote and build your business to start. If paying retail for postage this would be about 200 letters a month. If you use my stamp discount source that would be over 500 letters.
Supplies Needed
These are the supplies and suppliers I use the most. Sometimes they may not be available so get something simular at the same price point. I am always checking pricing and testing other products. But these stand the test of time.

Note: These work fine and they ship them to you fast. But you use them at your own risk. I do not personally recommend or warranty them. It is a resource I use that's it. I've never had any issues. They are older Forever stamps from previous years. Vendors buy them at a big discount from mailing houses and pass that savings onto us.
HP Printer -

Buyers Leads - These are the leads I use and they are fresh buyers leads. I buy the Premium Leads in 1000 to 2000 quantity. Note: I also have a few other vendors but they only have leads available at certain times of the year. When I get notified of their availablity I will pass ordering info onto you. Mountain Marketing leads are the best I have found that are always available.
