Lets face it, mailing letters has a cost.  Even though direct mail produces better results than online marketing, you still need to be in control of your expenses and have a plan.  If you just start mailing letters to the wrong people, it will result in wasted money and FAILURE.  

Here are the exact methods I continue to use to build my direct mail business.

5 Ways To Get Your (4) "Power Of Four" Referrals Fast!

1) Use a Buyers list ONLY!  DO NOT use a worthless Opportunity Seekers List...

This one is probably the only one I need to list because it is without a doubt the most powerful.

• The biggest scam in direct mail are people selling worthless Opportunity Seekers lists.  You need a "Buyers List" of actual people who have proven to buy!  When you join, you will get access to a Premium Buyers List at a drastic discount when you join "Power of Four".

  • • NOTE: You will ALSO be creating your own buyers list from your "Power of Four" customers for other offers later down the road. 

• The cost of a confirmed buyers list is a little more expensive than an opportunity seekers list (like maybe $20) but will 10X your results.  

• Commit to maiil 1000 letters.  This can be done over time and not all at once.  Read the Turtle Mailing Method below for more details on how to do this for just about any budget.

2) FIVE sneaky tricks that increase your results and keep costs low

1) Do your own printing at home.  Most home printers are totally fine to do this.  People like to join programs if they see they can easily do it to.  Expsnsive, colored flyers and sassy envelopes scream high Cost and an added level of Complexity.

2) Buy your supplies from Amazon starting out - Ink, Paper and Envelopes are priced less than most stores I have found.  Amazon is always cheaper for me. Staples is my back-up if you don't use Amazon.   

3) Use #10 peel and seal security envelopes.  

4) Starting small and printing from home means you can customize your mailings.  When you join you will get a Intro Letter to print and include with your flyer to build credibility.  If you are mailing 10-20 flyers a day to your leads, just customize each Intro letter with your clients name.  Massively powerful! 

5) Use 24lb to 32lb laser bright white paper vs. cheap 20lb copy paper

• • • The impression of heavy bright paper is much more appealing and professional than cheap thin 20lb copy paper.  People love touching books and quality paper.  It gives a lasting psychological response. The cost is not that much more (Like $3 to $5 extra per 500 pieces) and will give a much better first impression and more first response sales. 

3) You know at least two people who want this! (if not 4...)

This is optional but if you know someone that is into working from home why not tell them.  If not stick to the other methods.  I unknowingly got two friends involved by complete accident.  You never know. 

• Think of those you already know.

  • • Family members struggling too?

    • Friends or colleagues? 

    • Neighbors?

• Turn it into a fun team project or contest to push everyone.

• Offer pay them back their $20 fee once you get it.  The real money comes when you move down the pay line and move to level 2. 

  • • Then help them get their first mailing out and their four referrals.

      • • Offer to help them send out their first mailing financially like I do.  It only helps you more down the road and keeps the system moving forward. I will show you how to do it very low cost and simple.  For me to print, stuff and mail 50 letters take me less than an hour a day and costs me about $15.00.  When they get sales it only helps you more to keep the momentum flowing.

    • Your goal is momentum.  You want to get the mailings going.  Not only yours but also your referrals mailings.  The more you help them make money you make a lots more on the backside. 

4) Set a mailing limit and budget

  • • Mailing just 5, 10, 20 letters a day will do it just stay consistent.

• Consistency wins the race over big power plays.  This is where most people lose control and quit.  They start above their heads going for the hail mary and they blow their start-up capital.  

• Start slow and be consistent over time.  It works!

• The cost to join "Power Of Four" is $165 and it costs about $1.00 per letter including lead, postage and printing.  I will show you a legal way to get Forever Stamps for a fraction of the retail cost and reduce your mailing cost to about .35 cents per peice including paper, printing, lead and postage. 

5) Offer a low cost bonus for people to sign up  

• The end result of the "Power Of Four" income potential will be well worth it and pay for itself many times over.

• Offer Free leads - the cost will be around $5-$10 for 60-90 leads as a give-away.  

  • • You will get access to buy buyers leads when you join the "Power of Four". I buy an extra 1000 a month and use those as my free give-aways. The cost is nothing compared to the longterm benefits anf value building. 

• Offer access to the Kitchen Table Profits System. You get free share rights to use this online book as a bonus when you join my "Power of 4" business.  You can offer it to your customers too. You can also use this Power Of Four report if you desire.  I give you access to this when you join.

A few more tips - (not required but recommended)

1) Start a business legally through your state and city.  This makes your offer more professional. 

• An LLC or Sole Propietorship is recommended. 

• Legal Zoom is what I use but you can go direect to your state and do it yourself. 

2) Set-up a business bank account to manage your finances.

3) Track your expenses they are tax write-offs for your business start-up.

4) Treat it like a real business and it will pay you back "10"  fold. 

5) Buy the discount Forever stamps and reduce your mailing costs. Instead of a letter costing you $1.00 or more per letter after all costs, it could cost as low as .35 cents per letter after costs.  Massive savings! 

6) Once you start making $1000-$2000 or more a month make sure to upgrade to "Level 2" of the program and then you will start receiving $200 payments!!!
