RULES & REGULATIONS
NOTICE TO COMPETITORS
Play is governed by the current USGA Rules of Golf and the following local rules:
CHECK-IN: Each day of tournament play, competitors are required to sign in with the Tournament Official on site. If competitors do not check-in with the Tournament Official prior to tee time, it will be deemed that the player was a No-Show and will be Disqualified.
FORMAT: Individual Stroke Play.
OUT OF BOUNDS: Driving range is marked by white line. In addition to white stakes, all perimeter fencing and the inside edge of all public roads, (including curbing), are Out of Bounds. A ball coming to rest on the opposite side of a public road, even though it may be on another part of the course, is Out of Bounds.
HAZARDS: All hazards are marked red and yellow lines. All sawgrass areas to be played as lateral hazards.
BALL IN FAIRWAY: Lift, clean, and place in the correct fairway, no more than one club length.
BALL IN BUNKER: Lift, clean, rake, and place (playing partners or officials need to agree that the ball is lying in a footprint).
CONDUCT: Any damage to the golf course, grounds, buildings or fixtures is prohibited. Violators will be DISQUALIFIED. Any display of temper such as club throwing or banging, cursing, hollering, etc. may be grounds for a two stroke penalty, or in extreme cases, disqualification.
ELECTRONIC MEASURING DEVICES: Electronic Measuring Devices that measure distance only are permitted. Devices that measure wind speed, slope of the green, etc. are not permitted even if those functions can be turned off. Penalty: Disqualification.
PACE OF PLAY: The pace of play for this event is a maximum of 4 hours and 21 minutes per group for 18 holes, (approximately 14 minutes per hole). This will be monitored and enforced.

Female Professionals - 1 OR 2 UP COMBINATION TEE MARKER
Female Amateurs - 3 OR 4 UP COMBINATION TEE MARKERS
Male Professionals - BACK TEE MARKERS
Male Amateurs - HCP < 3 - BACK TEE MARKERS
Male Amateurs - HCP = or > 3 - ANY TEE BOX (NO PLUS HANDICAP)
Senior Tour Player / Long Drive Professionals - BACK TEE MARKERS
Senior Players HCP < 5 - 2 TEES UP (SUGGESTED) (50+ YEARS)
Senior Players HCP > 5 - 3 TEES UP (SUGGESTED) (50 +YEARS)
Super Seniors - 60+ YEARS AND TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE WILL DECIDE
PRACTICE AREA: Subject to Rule 7, practice is permitted on the driving range, putting greens and chipping greens before play. Practice during the round is permitted, provided your group is not holding up the pace of play. Practicing while holding up the field is subject to a two stroke penalty on each holding hole.
SCORE CARDS: Return your properly executed scorecard to the scoreboard area immediately following play. All scorecards should have two signatures for the marker and the competitor. Once a player has left the scoring table, the score that was signed for is final.
TIES: If there is a tie in the Strokeplay Championship, a sudden death playoff will immediately follow play starting from hole #1. A joint/split Championship will be declared if play cannot continue due to abnormal weather conditions or insufficient daylight.
RAIN POLICY: At least one half of the scheduled holes must be completed to constitute an official tournament.
FIRST TIME PLAYERS TO THE TOUR: If a new (first time) player wins the Net competition on their first event played, the tour will keep their entry fee amount for the next event that they play with EGT. This entry fee will be kept until the end of the season and will be sent via check to first time Net winners if they choose to not play another event with us during the season.
