Dance Discovery Hip Hop/ Pom/ Tumble
Beginning level classes focus on the basics of ballet including proper placement and posture; body positions, plies, tendus, battements, and port de bras. Emphasis will be placed on understanding technique, as well as instilling an appreciation and enjoyment of the movement.
We strongly encourage that ballet be taken in conjunction with any other dance class.

Learn the world’s cutting edge of new moves, as well as performance dynamics. All jazz classes will have a strong foundation in ballet with an emphasis on strength and flexibility with correct technique and body alignment. All classes focus on turns, jumps, leaps, increased flexibility, strength and an overall development of style.
Combines techniques of classical ballet and jazz, as well as some modern elements. These classes are for dancers who like precision and rhythm, physical challenges, and personal style and expression particularly with lyrically expressive songs. Exercises focus on increasing flexibility and strength, rhythms and isolation of body parts, and expressing personal style.
Classes focused on body alignment, placement, and coordination. Students learn methods to increase flexibility along with balance and coordination. Building stamina, control, and strength are key to becoming a well round dancer.
This class breaks down and digs deeper into the fundamentals of turning. Dancers will work on a variety of turns, leaps, turning leaps and other technique based skills. This class should only be taken in conjunction with Ballet (and Jazz if possible).

Students can make up missed classes by attending any other class at the appropriate age and skill level. Please ask if you need help selecting a make-up class.
NO CREDIT IS OFFERED TOWARD TUITION FOR CLASSES MISSED.
Full tuition is owed on each payment regardless of classes missed in the previous billing period.
Cancellations
Elevate Dance Complex follows Wake County inclement school closings. Notifications of cancellations will be posted on Facebook, and Instagram. Affected students may attend another existing class to make up for the missed class.
There are no refunds for classes missed due to severe weather conditions.
