General Guidelines for all Participants

  • Events that are organised are Paper Presentation, Project Presentation, Tech hunt, Drone challenge, Line following racing and Video quiz.
  • Registration fee is ₹ 150/- per individual participants.
  • No On-spot Registration, The Registration fee can be paid during the symposium day as Cash.
  • Participants has to register on or before 23.01.2020.
  • For Paper Presentation and Project presentation, Participants has to send the Paper and Abstract to the Email Id elettrico.amberz@gmail.com on or before 25.01.2020
  • The Paper acceptance will be on or before 26.01.2020

Paper Presentation

Rules for Paper Presentation :

  1. Participants can form a team of maximum two members for a presentation.
  2. Each member in a team should register individually.
  3. One Participant from a team have to Submit the Papers in PDF format (convert PPT file into PDF) to the Email Id elettrico.amberz@gmail.com on or before 25.01.2020
  4. The Paper should not exceed more than 20 slides.
  5. The Presentation has to be done for 8 minutes and 2 minutes for queries.

Project Presentation

  • Innovative ideas and solutions for Realtime Problems are welcomed.
  • Working Models are mandatory.

Rules for Project Presentation :

  1. Participants can form a team of Maximum 4 members.
  2. Each member in a team should register individually.
  3. Team Leader have to submit the Abstract of the project in PDF format (convert Word to PDF) to the Email Id elettrico.amberz@gmail.com on or before 25.01.2020
  4. The idea should be innovative.
  5. The project should be developed by their own.
  6. The participants should bring the all components.
  7. Separate Work Table and Power supply will be allocated for each Project team.
  8. Participants can prepare charts, videos or use any other attractive way for their demonstration.

TECHNICAL EVENTS

TECH HUNT

Participants need to answer the questions. They will undergo three rounds by clearing each of them. You'll be winner of E - parsing if you stir your knowledge with a tech spoon. This event consists of the following rounds.

Round - 1(Technical Quiz)

This round consist of 30 MCQ question. Participants will be giving with MCQ Question paper, in which they have to select the correct options. This round will be held for 15 mins ( 30 seconds per question). Participants with higher score will be shortlisted for 2nd round.

Round - 2(Technical Connections)

In Technical connections some pictures will be displayed which are not related to the technical context, the participant have to link the pictures in the provided fashion and should answer with a technical name of the electrical and electronic element or device hidden in those images. Winners in this round will be taken to the final round.

Rules for TECH HUNT:

  1. Each team should contain maximum 2 members.
  2. In all two rounds the same team should participate, interchanging members between teams are strictly prohibited.
  3. All the rounds will be of maximum 15 minutes.
  4. The answers can be discussed with your teammates.
  5. 10 teams with high scores in first round will be taken to second and top 5 teams from second round will be taken to final round. From the five finalists, top three are announced as winners of TECH HUNT.
  6. The team will be disqualified, if performed any malpractices.

DRONE CHALLENGE

1. Participants have to bring their own drone.

2. A path for drone with obstacles will be there. (1 trial run is allowed)

3. Participants , who fly their drone successfully in the specified path with least time and with least number of fouls will be selected as winner.


lINE FOLLOWER RACE

1. Participants have to bring their own Line follower Robots.

2. A Black Line path will be there, which is the arena for the Line follower.

3. The Line follower which come across the Black line path with least time and less number of deviation/foul will be selected as winner.

VIDEO QUIZ

1. Participants have to observe the Video clips played, and they have to answer the questions, which are asked from the video clipping.

2. 5 video clips will be displayed.

3. Participants have to answer for all the 5 video clip related questions.

4. Participants with maximum marks will be selected as winners.

Robo soccer

1.Maximum two members per team.

2.Same college can have participated as many teams.

3.Cash prize will be awarded for the 1st place.

4.There will be 3 rounds.

Round 1- Based on timing [5 minutes]

Round 2-Level up round based on timing and goal count [5 minutes]

Round 3-Level up and Final round based on timing and goal count [5 minutes]

4.Team can represent their own RC cars.

BOT SPECIFICATIONS:

1. Bots can be wired or wireless.

2. Wireless bots should have a minimum range of 14 feet.

3. The wire length of wired bots must be greater than 14 feet.

4. The bot dimensions should be as follows

(10% tolerance is allowed):

a) Length <= 30 cm

b) Breadth <= 25 cm

c) Height <= 25 cm

d) Weight <= 5 kg.

5. The battery voltage (potential) supplied to the bot should not exceed 12 volts.

6. Any kind of mechanism for kicking the ball is not allowed.

ARENA SPECIFICATIONS:

1. Arena Dimensions: 10 feet X 7.5 feet.

2. Goal post Dimensions: 24 inches X 12 inches.

3. Penalty arc chord width: 2 feet 2 inches.

4. Center Circle diameter: 12 inches.

5. Ball Diameter: 3.5 inches.

6. The arena will have a plywood base.
