I am a PhD student in a joint PhD programme between the University of Trento, Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and the Paris School of Economics since October 2023. I also work as a consultant at the OECD in the Economics Directorate.
My research focuses on industrial organization, international trade, and trade policy, with an emphasis on firm behavior, market structure, and productivity dynamics.
One strand of my work studies firm responses to trade and industrial policy shocks, focusing on how export restrictions on critical raw materials affect import-dependent firms along global value chains. A second strand examines the link between market competition, investment, and productivity, analyzing how the responsiveness of firms’ investment to productivity evolves over time and how the business environment shapes capital reallocation. A third strand investigates intra-industry heterogeneity and diversification strategies in high-technology sectors, using detailed firm-level data from the global semiconductor industry.
