Ph.D. Student Opportunities

Are you eager to dive into cutting-edge laser and plasma experiments? If so, we’d love to have you join us!

Our research focuses on creating high-energy electron beams through laser-plasma acceleration and using these beams to generate X-rays. We aim to produce more stable, high-quality beams using our unique approaches, with the potential for application in various fields.

Our work has broad applications in any area that utilizes electron beams. Specifically, we are focused on developing compact X-ray sources and EUV-FEL with electron beams, and studying the extreme conditions that arise when high-energy electron beams interact with matter and lasers.

Our goal is to replicate some of the universe’s most extreme phenomena right here in the lab. If you’re curious about observing extreme phenomena near the black hole in the lab or want to explore electron beams in depth, we’d be thrilled to have you with us.
