This course will introduce students to the study of the representation and processing of language in the brain. Recent literature regarding language organization in the cortex, first language development, language loss (aphasia), the bilingual, and the most recent literature on language processing and aging will reviewed. The most recent methodologies for investigating these questions will be introduced.
