Eleobo ("the App," "we," "us") is developed to support students and staff at the schools we partner with, providing attendance tracking, course information, and institute communications. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
By using Eleobo, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Account Information
Accounts on Eleobo are not self-registered. We create accounts only for students and staff at the schools we work with, and only where the school has requested that a particular student or staff member be given dashboard access. If a student or their parent does not wish to have a dashboard, we simply do not create an account for them. When an account is created, we collect the name, email address, and role (student, parent, or staff) needed to set it up.
Attendance and Academic Data
For accounts we create, the App stores and displays attendance records, course enrollment, and related academic information tied to that account.
Usage and Device Information
We may collect basic technical information such as device type, operating system version, and app usage patterns to help us maintain and improve the App.
Content You Access
The App displays news, blog posts, courses, and event information from our servers. Beyond the account details set up on your behalf, you are not required to submit additional personal content.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide access to attendance records, courses, and institute updates
Authenticate accounts and maintain account security
Send notifications about attendance, events, and announcements
Improve app performance and fix technical issues
Generate attendance/report documents (such as PDF reports) when requested by authorized users
Data Storage and Third-Party Services
Eleobo uses the following third-party services to operate:
Firebase (Google) — for authentication, database storage (Cloud Firestore), and analytics. Firebase's own privacy practices are described at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Local device storage — some data (such as cached attendance and preferences) is stored locally on your device to allow offline access
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Children's Privacy
Eleobo is used by students who may be minors. Because accounts are created directly by us on behalf of a partner school, and only for students the school has specifically asked us to set up, all student accounts exist under the school's authorization. Parents can access their child's attendance and academic information through the App where such a dashboard has been created. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is necessary for attendance and academic record-keeping in this school-authorized context. Data Retention
We retain account and attendance data for as long as the account remains active with the partner school, or as required to comply with our legal and academic record-keeping obligations. You may request deletion of an account and its data by contacting us.
Data Security
We use industry-standard measures, including Firebase Authentication and encrypted network connections (HTTPS), to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated data

Permissions
Eleobo requests Internet access to communicate with our servers for attendance, course, and content data. It does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, or microphone.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
