This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No 101028470.
In 2021, I was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2020) for my project "Can less be more?: Semiparametric and partial identification in panel data discrete response models with an application to consumer demand" (PartialIO) .

Abstract:
Traditional panel data demand models that provide information on individual behaviour frequently use distributional and functional form assumptions for identification and estimation. When not correctly specified, these models shift towards interpretation and inference problems, which might negatively impact policymaking. Semi-parametric models make fewer assumptions and can be applied to different settings and data sets but can lose identification power and only partially identify the parameters of interest. The EU-funded PartialIO project will develop innovative econometric panel data models of consumer demand investigating the determinants affecting consumer decisions. The project will study the role of inertia, habits and lock-in in choices and the dynamics in decisions.
