I am a postdoc at the University of Bologna, in the project
CRoTA (Chow Ring of Toric Arrangements)
led by Roberto Pagaria. I completed my PhD in the Algebraic Combinatorics group at Ruhr-Universität Bochum under the supervision of Christian Stump, with the thesis
Polynomial Invariants in Algebraic Combinatorics
My research focuses on polynomials arising from posets, hyperplane arrangements and matroids. I am also interested in Chow rings of matroids and in real-rootedness phenomena.
In general, I like to work with combinatorial structures that arise from symmetries or can be structured in a poset — and there are plenty of those!
