Tach & welcome!

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Mannheim. I obtained my PhD in Economics from LMU Munich, where I was also a researcher at the ifo Institute. During 2024, I visited the University of Toronto and its Institute for Gender and the Economy.

My main research interest is applied microeconomics, with a focus on public and gender economics. One of my current papers examines the impact of joint taxation on inequality within households, focusing on same-sex couples. You can find my CV here and my research here.
