Hi! I'm a PhD student in the Applied and Interdisciplinary Math program at the University of Michigan. I graduated from Tufts University with a BS in Mathematics in May 2024. My research is in stochastic optimization with applications to neuroscience. Right now, I'm working on a project with Dr. Victoria Booth building up a gradient-based optimization pipeline for noisy ODE models of polyphasic rodent sleep-wake behavior.
Outside of math, I take care of ~50 houseplants, love movies, and am occasionally recognized by staff at Frita Batidos. I enjoy being outdoors and staying active. I follow rap music (Kendrick Lamar, Tyler the Creator, etc) and the WNBA closely. I've lived in Ann Arbor for 20 years!
