A.i. vs Socrates
Mixedmedia on-site specific installation made by the contemporary artist Alberto Ballocca now in the collection of Botanicus Vivaio in Torino, Italy. Partly inspired by the studio album Kosmischer Pitch (2005) by Jan Jelinek,  this installation is a journey through one of the ten principal natural elements, the celestial trunks (倩干, Tiangan) according to the ancient Chinese myth; as a continuum of the body of work presented in the exhibition 'Nature & Love' curated by Master Ruha Gallery in Qing-Dao (Beijing), mixed with a deep studio session listening of this album, this work started with a experimental digital collage on software, pre-cognitive for the final digital draft used to assemble the work in the space of Botanicus Vivaio.
Eul μ / π²πππ°πΏπ² incorporates different and various objects, found and crafted with artificial and natural implementations throughout three months of research by Alberto as each Element is also the perfect analogy to each color, the ancient Egyptian obelisks present in Turin serves the artist's inspiration as for Trees similarities, from the ground to the sky.
'Each color is a self-sustained ecosystem, provided by Nature to human beings for us to contemplate and learn from. Creativity is like fire, red, coming from Evrth, brown as soil, making the blue Water becoming white Air and the cycle comes back looped through our perception as in the studio process itself. "Jan Jelinek, Masayoshi Jujita, Alice Coltrane and Pharoah Sanders' music and experimental organics, define my life through natural patterns contemplation as this is another result of the impersonal feelings exuded by this pathway.'
