Why Elect Stephanie?

My passion is to work with children, teachers and families. I do this to help make a difference in children’s lives. I am a great listener, I support All Children, I want the very best to retain our great teachers. I am open to new ideas, I will work hard for you. I support our parents and community. I’m a big believer in the Public School System. Last of all, if you ask me a question and I don’t know the answer, I will find it, and get back to you.

The students, teachers and families are my clients. I will do my very best to work hard in making a positive, enriched, inclusive environment that promotes the physical and mental health and wellbeing of every student.

The following outlines what I believe and hope to accomplish for our Scotts Valley students if elected:

• I SUPPORT PUBLIC EDUCATION!

• I will put the best interest of children first.

• I will continue to provide effective leadership and guidance to fulfill the mission of the district.

• I will be fiscally and socially responsible and accountable.

• I support educating all students on the value of acceptance and inclusion.

• I will make myself available to listen to the concerns of, students, teachers, staff, parents and community members. I will always be open and transparent in decision-making. 

• I will ensure that every student gets the highest quality education that they deserve.

• I will make students number one when it comes to determining the budget and district wide decisions.

• I will continue to support teachers through professional learning and development programs.

• I will continue to work with the student body and school staff diversity that enriches the learning experience, promotes cultural awareness, and acceptance.

• I will be accountable to our community for setting clear expectations and optimizing resources to meet our districts goals. 

• I am trust worthy, law abiding, honest and fair.

• I appreciate the current School Board Members and all the work that they have put into this district.
