ELECTROMAGNETIC PLATFORM MOTOR (EPM-2)

(EPM-2) U.S. PATENT INVENTION POWER SOURCE TO ROTATE THE SHAFT OF AN ELECTRIC GENERATOR

Source for generating rotational motion or mechanical energy to generate electrical energy is no longer an elusive goal. EPM-2 is a reciprocating machine with the additional employment of an electromagnetic platform motor on track wheels connected to a mechanism having multiple levers, a ratcheting system and a gear system that rotates the shaft of an electric generator producing electricity.

Once produce and made available to the public, EPM-2 provides a considerable benefit to the environment, society and air quality. And it produces zero-emission. It makes it the perfect solution for city and nationwide travel with buses.

EPM-2, an electromagnetic platform motor on track wheels converts reciprocating motion into rotation motion that produce torque force and speed rotating the shaft of an electric generator producing electricity. EPM-2 uses an electromagnetic aluminum tube magnetic force field to repel and attract super strong permanent magnets attached on opposites side of a platform with wheels to move forward and backward, in and out of the electromagnetic aluminum tube with force. A mechanical advantage ratchet mechanism connected to the platform motor converts the reciprocating motion, forward movements and backward movements to rotational motion that produces torque force and speed that rotates the shaft of the electric generator producing electricity.

EPM-2, U.S. Patent No. 9641045: To highlight EPM-2 capabilities, EPM-2 can power the generator in an ALL-ELECTRIC BUS or in a STAND-BY GENERATOR. EPM-2 operates without the current energy sources, and it does not have to be recharged to operate. EPM-2 batteries are automatically recharged. EPM-2 components include an Inverter Converter Tandem Unit which has a built-in charger controller wherein, it supplies current to the battery packs recharging the batteries.

EPM-2 could be machine built and would be more compact for efficiency. A link to the 3D Technical Animation (EPM-2) video is available upon request. If interested, please contact Bill Lewis Sr. at billlewissr47a@gmail.com A direct link to the USPTO website of U.S. Patent No. 9641045 is https://patents.google.com/patent/US9641045.

EPM-2 patent claims (9) were allowed by the U.S. Patent Office as a new and useful power source invention, mechanically connected to an electric generator producing the required torque force and speed rotates the shaft of the electric generator producing electricity. EPM-2 advantage are: 1). no fossil fuel required to operate; 2). EPM-2 do not have to be recharged to operate; 3). batteries are automatically recharged, and 4). zero emission.

NOTE: EPM-2 could be built to produce the torque force and speed to rotate the shaft of any sizes electric generator producing electricity, i.i., an ALL- ELECTRIC BUS generator, a COMMERCIALL- STAND-BY GENERATOR, and an ALL- ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE generator.

One way to accomplish the desired increase voltage is to add A Step-up Transformer and a Rectifier. EPM-2 could also be built compact and more efficient to power the electric generator of a SUV.

I am seeking for an innovator or interested parties to produce and made available to the public EPM-2. Once EPM-2 is available, society, the environment and the public would greatly benefit.
