Reserve Mercury Privacy Policy (9.13.2026)
YOU ARE ACCESSING A U.S. GOVERNMENT (USG) INFORMATION SYSTEM (IS) THAT IS PROVIDED FOR USG-AUTHORIZED USE ONLY.
The purpose of this application is to provide administrative access to enable efficient and effective service by reserve-component service members in the U.S. military. By using this IS (which includes any device attached to this IS), you consent to the following conditions: This IS includes security measures (e.g., authentication and access controls) to protect USG interests--not for your personal benefit or privacy. The USG routinely intercepts and monitors communications on this IS for purposes including, but not limited to, penetration testing, COMSEC monitoring, network operations and defense, personnel misconduct (PM), law enforcement (LE), and counterintelligence (CI) investigations. At any time, the USG may inspect and seize data stored on this IS. For security purposes, and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, this government computer system employs software programs to monitor network traffic, to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, to cause damage, or to deny service to authorized users. For site management, information is collected for statistical purposes only. This IS uses software programs to create summary statistics, which are used for such purposes as assessing what information is of most and least interest, determining technical design specifications, and identifying system performance or problem areas. Notwithstanding the above, using this IS does not constitute consent to PM, LE or CI investigative searching or monitoring of the content of privileged communications, or work product, related to personal representation or services by attorneys, psychotherapists, or clergy, and their assistants. Such communications and work product are private and confidential. No information is shared with third-party or commercial vendors unless in connection with authorized USG contract support and bound by similar privacy and confidentiality policies.

The request must reasonably describe the records to be amended and the changes sought (for example, deletion, addition, or amendment). The burden of proof is on you as the requester. If the amendment is appropriate, the system manager or custodian will physically amend the records as allowed by applicable federal law and military regulations. You will be notified of such action. Unauthorized attempts to upload information or change information on this service are strictly prohibited and may be punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986, Identity Theft Enforcement and Restitution Act of 2008, the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act, and other applicable federal law and military regulations.
