Between Friday, October 30th and Election Day on Tuesday, November 3rd, we need to get crucial polling place and voting information to Democratic voters who haven’t yet voted. Here’s how you can help:
Lit Drop Volunteers: Please sign up for as much area as you can cover between Friday the 30th and Election Day on November 3rd. Just leave the door hanger at the door; no knocking required. If you can help, please contact Barb Law at barb.law2020@gmail.com or 727-463-0694.
Calling, texting, emailing: You’ll be contacting voters who live in buildings and communities that don’t permit door hangers at the door. You can provide ballot and voting information to these voters in whatever way works for you. If you can help, please contact Bill Broom at wfb4cdc-lexus@yahoo.com or 727-821-4092.
Packet Assembly: We’ll need packet assembly help between now and Election Day. Many of you have already started work. Thank you! If you have not yet signed up and are able to help with packet assembly, please contact me at fahygotv@gmail.com.
These are the days when you can have the greatest impact on voter turnout. And voter turnout is the key to victory.
Between Friday, October 30th and Election Day on Tuesday, November 3rd, we need to get crucial polling place and voting information to Democratic voters who haven’t yet voted. Here’s how you can help:
Block and Building Captains: Please contact your Neighborhood Organizer to confirm that you can cover your turf for the days before Election Day, and sign up to cover other turfs that don’t have block captains. These other turfs are most in need of help. This will be “lit drop” work; you’ll simply leave a door hanger at the door.

The League of Women Voters is looking for individuals who have flexible schedules and access to a vehicle on Election Day Nov 3rd to serve as back-up, in-person poll monitors for Election Protection. You will be asked to take a "stand-by" shift, so that we can dispatch you in case a poll monitor gets ill, or if we need an extra poll monitor at a location, or if something happens in a precinct where we do not have a poll monitor stationed. (Please note: If you have already be trained as a Poll Monitor and sent in your shift availability form, you will be assigned to a polling place or to a roving turf for a regular shift. We're just looking for more folks to back you up!)
Interested? Email VoterProtection@lwvspa.org to sign up!
Training will be Thursday, October 29, 6:30-8:30 pm
Trump threatened not to accept the results in 2016. He claimed the election was “rigged” and “millions of people” were voting unlawfully. Afterward, he claimed—without evidence—that he actually won the popular vote in 2016. Trump has repeatedly hinted that he will not leave the White House willingly. He warned that “people would demand that I stay longer” and even mused about being president for 20 years. In 2020, we will not allow Trump to follow through on those threats. We will demand that every vote be counted, even if it takes days or weeks to get an accurate count from critical states, especially given the expansion of mail-in and absentee voting during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will organize to ensure that the loser concedes, and that Congress, the Electoral College, and state officials honor the accurate, final vote count. NOTE: We think the likelihood of activation is high. You will receive a notification and a messages when actions are finalized. With every tweet and refusal to commit to accepting the legitimate results of the 2020 election, Trump seeks to stoke chaos and fear. But we will be ready - if Trump tries to steal the election or prevent every vote from being counted, the Protect the Results will activate nationwide mobilizations to demand that all the votes are counted and for the peaceful transition of power. Join us to honor the valid results of the 2020 election, ensure that every vote is counted, and show up to demand the peaceful transition of power.
Protect Our Election is bringing Americans of all stripes together to reinforce our faith in the process by committing to a specific set of pro-democracy measures.
Take the pledge HERE. Pressure your elected officials, community leaders and business people to take the pledge as well.
Early Vote Site Team Volunteers will help report line counts, flag voting issues, handout PPE and sealed bottled water, and work to ensure every voter has the opportunity to cast their vote! Each volunteer will be assigned to an early vote site and will be asked to commit to certain days and times.
All volunteers will be asked to attend one of our daily trainings to ensure our Early Vote Site Teams are safe, socially distanced, and prepared! You can sign-up for a training here --> http://joe.link/EVSiteTeamTraining
