A new resource for voters in Ireland
This site has been created to help members of the public identify and report election interference in Ireland.
Election interference can take many forms:
posters that break the rules
fake or abusive content shared online
intimidation and harassment of candidates and canvassers
These activities stop us having fair elections and put individuals at risk. There are actions we can all take to highlight and report undemocratic interference.
See below for details on how to identify the different types of election interference, and how to report them.
Election interference through activities like false information and online abuse, is on the rise in Ireland. By reporting election interference, we can all take action to protect our democracy. Fair, respectful and informed elections are good for us all.
This resource was created by a collective of civil society organisations and leaders, academics, researchers and communicators.
