Senior Consultant

Served as expert witness consultant pertaining to post-incident evaluation of slips, trips, and falls along foreseeable pedestrian path, using the applicable code, standard, or guideline to determine conformance to the standard of care.  Other engineering studies included property damage claims involving building foundation movement, impact damage, ground vibration, structural failures, snow/ice accumulation, and moisture intrusion.  Mr. ElDorado was a continuing education presenter of Premises Liability, Property Damage, and Ground Vibration courses.

Northrup Grumman Commercial Aircraft, Dallas, Texas                                                                                         September 1991 to September 1995

Facilities Structural Engineer

Responsible for design/construction management of concrete foundation, steel structure, paving/drainage and underground storage tank projects within the Naval facility.  Coordinated with mechanical and electrical groups to produce designs meeting budget and schedule requirements of internal customers.

Facilities Structural Engineer

Early assignments included production of wood truss shop drawings for an average of 5 projects a week by combining computer output with hand calculations.  As Senior Support Engineer, Mr. ElDorado served as technical specialist to support programming staff and end users of wood truss design software.

Facilities Structural Engineer

 Responsibilities included sub-grade density testing, paving inspection, concrete sampling, and survey party work during construction of the westbound expressway project along State Highway 2 in the City of Lincoln.
