Percy is the main protagonist (good guy) and the narrator of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. He is a Greek demigod son of Sally Jackson.
Annabeth Chase
Annabeth is a seventeen-year-old Greek demigod, the daughter of the goddess Athena and professor Frederick Chase, and the cousin of Norse demigod Magnus Chase. She is one of the main characters in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series.
Chiron
(AKA Mr. Brunner)
Chiron is the activities director at Camp Half-Blood. He is an immortal centaur, son of Kronos and the Oceanid Philyra, and a famed trainer of heroes from Greek mythology, including Jason and Achilles. In The Lightning Thief, Chiron went under the alias "Mr. Brunner" when he posed as a teacher at Yancy Academy.
Luke
Luke is a Greek demigod son of Hermes.
Zeus
Zeus is king of the Gods. His Roman counterpart is Juptier. He controls lightning and has the master bolt as his symbol of power.
Poseidon
Poseidon is god of the sea.
Sally Jackson
Human mother of Perseus Jackson.
Thalia
Thalia is the daughter of Zeus. She was turned into a pine tree on Half-Blood Hill by Zeus rather than being killed.
Ares
Ares is the Greek god of war. His symbols include the boar, dog, wolf, spear, sword, and vulture. His Roman counterpart is Mars.
Athena
Athena, goddess of wisdom, war and useful arts. Most importantly, the mother of Annabeth.
Hades
Hades is the god of the underworld. His symbol is the helm of darkness.
Dionysus
Dionysus is the camp director of Camp Half Blood and the God of Wine.
Clarisse
Clarisse is the daughter of Ares and longtime head of the Ares cabin at Camp Half-Blood.
Gabe Ugliano
Gabe is Percy’s step dad. Married to Sally Jackson.
Medusa
A monster, a Gorgon, generally described as a winged human female with living venomous snakes in place of hair. Those who gazed upon her face would turn to stone.
Mrs. Dodds
A minor antagonist (bad guy) in Percy jackson. She is Percy’s math teacher and a fury. She has 2 sister furies.
Echidna
A monster, half-woman and half-snake, who lived alone in a cave.
The Furies
A group of three weaving goddesses who assign individual destinies to mortals at birth. Their names are Clotho (the Spinner), Lachesis (the Alloter) and Atropos (the Inflexible)
Furies
Monstrous women who lived in the underworld and avenged murders.
Minotaur
A mythical creature portrayed in Classical times with the head and tail of a bull and the body of a man.
Satyr
Half human, half goat.
Centaur
Half man, half horse.
