About Mary 

Hello, and welcome! My name is Mary Williams, Founder and Owner of ElderCare Navigation Services LLC. 

My passion for helping older adults and their families has been the foundation of my career for more than four decades. I graduated from the State University of New York College at Cortland in 1986, earning a BA in Sociology and Concentration in Gerontology. In addition, I am a graduate of Audrey Cohen College of Human Services, which today is known as the Metropolitan College of New York, possessing a Masters of Science in Administration Human Services, 1995. 

Before becoming an educator, I spent more than 20 years directing and overseeing community-based programs that served older adults and their famillies, including: homebound meals on wheels, outreach, recreation, nutritional, and social services. During that time, I worked closely with seniors, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to help individuals access trusted resources, coordinate services, and maintain their independence. 

For the past 20 years, I have also had the privilege of serving as an educator. Teaching has strengthened my ability to listen, educate, empower, communicate, and guide others through complex situations with patience and understanding. 

In addition to may professional experience, I have personally served as a caregiver for multiple family members, including my parents, grandparents, sister, husband, and my Godmother. Those experiences gave me firsthand insight into the challenges families face when navigating healthcare, longterm care options, community resources, and making difficult decisions. I understand that caregiving can be both rewarding and overwhelming. Those experiences inspired me to establish ElderCare Navigation Services LLC. 

My mission is to provide compassionate guidance, care coordination, advocacy, and resource navigation that empowers families to make informed decisions while honoring the dignity, independence, and wishes of their loved ones. I believe every family deserves a trusted guide during  life's important transitions.
